Hair restoration products for clinics: QR678 Neo, exosomes and growth-factor kits
A buyer's guide to the main hair-restoration product types Indian clinics stock — QR678 Neo, exosome scalp solutions, GFC kits and prefilled peptide injectables — and how to compare them.

Hair restoration has moved from a niche service to a regular line on many Indian clinic menus. With that growth has come a confusing range of products: peptide vials, exosome solutions, growth-factor kits and prefilled "hair fillers", each with its own packaging, terminology and price logic. This guide sorts the main product types a clinic is likely to buy, explains what each one actually is, and sets out how to compare them as stock decisions.
It is a purchasing guide only. Which approach suits a patient, and how it is carried out, are decisions for a qualified doctor. We make no claims about results for any product mentioned here.
Four product types, four ways of working
The products on our hair-restoration shelf fall into four groups. They are not substitutes for one another so much as different tools, and many clinics stock more than one.
1. Peptide formulations: QR678 Neo
QR678 Neo is the name most patients in India will already know. The QR678 formulations were developed in India by cosmetic surgeons Dr Debraj Shome and Dr Rinky Kapoor, and the original formulation received a US patent in 2017. The Neo version is described as a highly purified, peptide-based solution.
We stock QR 678 Neo Anti-Hairloss Solution (Highly Purified) as a single vial labelled for one session. That single-session format is the main practical attraction: a clinic can match vials to booked appointments exactly and avoid opening multi-dose packs.
2. Exosome scalp solutions: MCCM
Exosomes are tiny vesicles released by cells, and exosome-based products are one of the most discussed ingredient categories in aesthetic medicine. For buyers, the key point is that this is a developing field: sources and formulations differ widely between brands, and regulatory treatment differs by country.
We carry the MCCM Exosome Hair Scalp Treatment Solution from MCCM Medical Cosmetics, a Spanish professional brand known for mesotherapy products. It is boxed with the vial count as labelled. Clinics typically add it as a European-made exosome option next to their peptide and growth-factor products.
3. Growth-factor concentrate kits: Wockhardt Follirich
A GFC kit is not a ready-made solution. It is a set of consumables that a clinic uses to prepare a growth factor concentrate from the patient's own blood — which is why the word "autologous" appears on the box. The Wockhardt Follirich Autologous Platelet Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC) Kit is a single-step kit, one per patient session, from the Indian pharmaceutical company Wockhardt.
Because the active material comes from the patient, a GFC kit needs suitable equipment, a clinical setting and trained staff. Clinics that already offer PRP-style procedures often find it the most natural fit.
4. Prefilled peptide injectables: Dr. CYJ Hair Filler
The Dr. CYJ Hair Filler Peptide Injection from South Korea is boxed as two 1 ml prefilled syringes. Despite the word "filler" in its name, it is a scalp product and not a volumising facial filler. The prefilled format is convenient to store and handle, and it gives clinics a Korean option alongside the Indian and European products above.
Side-by-side for buyers
| Product | Type | Origin | Pack | Preparation in clinic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QR678 Neo | Peptide formulation | India | 1 vial, single session | Ready-made |
| MCCM Exosome Scalp Solution | Exosome solution | Spain | 1 box, vials as labelled | Ready-made |
| Wockhardt Follirich GFC Kit | Growth-factor preparation kit | India | 1 kit, one session | Concentrate prepared from patient's blood |
| Dr. CYJ Hair Filler | Peptide injectable | South Korea | 2 × 1 ml prefilled syringes | Ready-made, prefilled |
How to compare hair products fairly
Because the packs are so different, the box price tells you very little. These four steps give a clearer picture.
Work out the cost per session. QR678 Neo and Follirich are labelled one per session. For MCCM and Dr. CYJ, divide the box price by the number of units in the box. Then compare at the tier you will realistically buy.
Count the clinic time. Ready-made vials and prefilled syringes take less preparation time than a GFC kit. If your team is small, time per session can matter as much as product cost.
Consider what patients ask for. QR678 is frequently requested by name in India, while exosome products are drawing interest from patients who follow international trends. Stocking what patients already recognise helps products move.
Think about consistency. Hair programmes usually run as a course of sessions. Make sure you can reorder the same product reliably before you build a package around it, and check expiry dates so stock for a full course is well within date.
Building a hair-restoration menu
Clinics we supply tend to follow one of three patterns:
- Single-product start. Begin with QR678 Neo because patients ask for it, then add a second approach once the service is established.
- Two approaches. A ready-made product (QR678 Neo or MCCM) plus a GFC kit, so the doctor can choose between a patient-derived and a ready-made approach.
- Full menu. Peptide, exosome, GFC and prefilled options, giving the doctor the widest choice and patients a range of price points.
In every case, the decision about which product suits which patient sits with the doctor. Our role is to supply sealed, verifiable stock.
What to check before you pay
- Sealed packaging on every box or kit.
- Batch and expiry printed on the outer carton and on each vial or syringe, and matching.
- Remaining shelf life that covers the full course you are planning.
- Exact product name, especially for kits and solutions with similar-looking cartons.
- A confirmed total including GST and delivery.
