Glutathione injection price in India: a buyer's guide for clinics
Why glutathione injection prices in India vary so much, how to compare packs fairly, and what clinics should check before they buy in bulk.

If you run a skin clinic, a medspa or a dermatology practice in India, you have probably noticed something odd about glutathione injections: two boxes that look almost identical on a supplier's list can sit at wildly different price points. One is a few thousand rupees, the next is several times that. This guide explains where those differences come from, how to compare packs on a like-for-like basis, and what to verify before you commit clinic money to stock.
A quick note before we start: this is a purchasing guide, not clinical advice. Whether glutathione is appropriate for a particular patient, and how it should be administered, is a decision for a qualified, registered doctor.
Why glutathione prices vary so much
The phrase "glutathione injection" covers a very broad family of products. On the Esthelix catalogue alone there are close to two hundred listings in this category, from dozens of brands. Price is driven by a handful of factors that are easy to overlook when you are scanning a list.
1. Number of sessions in the box
This is the single biggest driver, and the one most often missed. Packs are sold as 1 session, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 24, 30 and even 50 sessions. A single-session pack that looks cheap can work out far more expensive per session than a 10-session box. Always divide by the session count printed on the pack before comparing.
2. What else is in the kit
Many boxes are not glutathione alone. Common add-ons include vitamin C ampoules, collagen, alpha-lipoic (thioctic) acid, NAD+, placenta extracts, peptides or "stem cell" style complexes. A box with two ampoules per session plus a powder vial naturally sits higher than a plain powder-and-diluent kit.
3. The number printed on the label
You will see figures such as 1,200 mg, 5,000 mg, 90,000 mg and even multi-million "GS" or "GX" codes. These printed figures are brand designations and are not standardised across manufacturers, so they are not a reliable way to compare products. Read the full composition on the box instead, and ask your doctor how to interpret it.
4. Brand and labelled origin
Brands labelled as Japanese, Swiss, Italian or Korean each have their own following among Indian clinics, and demand affects price. Korean pharmaceutical-style brands such as Luthione tend to be straightforward, plainly labelled products. Multi-component "premium" kits from brands such as Glutax, Miracle White or Aqua Skin generally sit at the upper end.
5. Order quantity
Like most wholesale categories, the per-box price drops as volume rises. Esthelix lists three price tiers on every product: 1 to 4 units (retail), 5 to 9 units (wholesale) and 10 or more units (best price).
A simple way to compare packs fairly
When you shortlist products, build a small comparison sheet with these columns:
- Brand and product name exactly as printed on the box
- Sessions per box
- Components per session (powder vial, diluent, vitamin C ampoule, other)
- Labelled origin
- Unit price at your likely tier (1–4, 5–9 or 10+)
- Price per session = unit price ÷ sessions
The last column is the one that matters for patient pricing. It is common to find that a "premium" 10-session box at the wholesale tier is closer in per-session cost to a mid-range brand than the headline price suggests.
How the main groups compare
| Group | Typical packs | Positioning | Who usually buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plain reduced glutathione (e.g. Luthione, Saluta) | 10 vials, 600 mg or 1,200 mg | Budget-friendly to mid-range | Clinics wanting a simple, clearly labelled product |
| Japanese-labelled brands (e.g. Zaguta, Shirayuki, NC24) | 6 to 10 sessions | Mid-range to premium | Clinics whose patients ask for Japanese brands by name |
| Swiss-labelled kits (e.g. Aqua Skin, Biocell) | 1 to 30 sessions | Mid-range to premium | Practices offering a menu of packages |
| Multi-component kits (e.g. Glutax, Miracle White) | 1 to 12 sessions | Premium | High-footfall clinics and medspas |
| NAD+ combinations (e.g. Iskin Radianz Blu Cell, Cindyrella) | 4 to 50 sessions | Premium | Wellness-led and drip-bar style practices |
These are broad positioning bands, not price quotes. Live INR prices are listed on each product page.
What to check before you pay
Price is only one half of a good purchase. The other half is making sure what arrives is the genuine, sealed article.
- Sealed outer pack. Shrink-wrap and seals should be intact.
- Batch number and expiry date printed clearly on the box, matching the vials and ampoules inside.
- Remaining shelf life. For stock you plan to use over several months, ask for the expiry before you pay.
- Batch photos. A reputable supplier should be willing to share photos of the actual batch.
- Clear total cost. GST and delivery charges should be confirmed before payment, not added later.
At Esthelix we confirm stock, batch, expiry, GST and delivery charges with you on WhatsApp before any payment is made, and batch photos are available on request.
Planning stock for a clinic
A few practical habits help clinics avoid both stock-outs and expired inventory:
- Separate "hero" products from trial products. Keep deeper stock of the one or two brands your patients request most, and buy single units of newer brands to gauge demand.
- Use the tiers deliberately. If you are close to five units, moving up to the wholesale tier often makes sense. If you regularly reach ten, the best-price tier is worth planning for.
- Check expiry against your usage rate. A large order only saves money if it is used before the printed date.
- Keep packaging until the box is finished. Batch details on the outer pack are useful for your own records.
Frequently confused terms
- "Whitening" vs "brightening". These are marketing terms used on packaging. They are not medical claims and should not be presented to patients as guaranteed outcomes.
- "Reduced glutathione". This describes the chemical form of the molecule, and is printed on many plainly labelled products.
- "Session". A pack's session count refers to how the manufacturer has divided the contents. How those contents are used is a clinical decision.
Who can buy
