About this product
Allergan Botox 100 Units is a botulinum toxin type A injection manufactured by Allergan (an AbbVie company) (Ireland). The original Allergan-manufactured 100 U vial in its sealed hologram carton.
Glabellar lines, lateral canthal (crow's feet) lines, forehead lines, masseter hypertrophy, axillary hyperhidrosis, and licensed therapeutic uses. Blocks acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction so the injected muscle relaxes and the dynamic wrinkle softens. Onset: 3–4 days, peak effect at ~2 weeks. Duration: 3–4 months.
Supplied as 1 vial; strength 100 Units. Composition: Botulinum toxin type A 100 U, human serum albumin 0.5 mg, sodium chloride 0.9 mg per vacuum-dried vial, preservative-free. Storage: 2–8 °C refrigerated unopened, do not freeze; after reconstitution with sterile preservative-free saline keep at 2–8 °C and use within 24 h. Shelf life: 36 months unopened (100 U vial).
